technology
After hearing several facts about the increasing rates of technology in the past two days, I have learned and become more aware of the Internet. First of all, I learned that anything I put on the Internet can be view and utilized by anyone in the world. This helped me become more conscious about what I am putting on the Internet. Also, after watching the videos and reading the articles yesterday I became more aware that information posted on the web could be false or misleading. A strategy that I could use to make sure the information I am getting is true, is cross-referencing. I believe that this increase in technology will have a devastating effect on the economy within the next 20 years because computers will replace a lot of human jobs.

I definitely see what your saying about being more aware of what you put on the internet. I never realized that it is NEVER really deleted and it continues to float around. It's almost scary thinking about where things go once being deleted. The cross-referencing idea is also something i need to get better at. When i look up information i usually just believe what i see the first time which is dangerous because it gives it more of a chance of being wrong. So cross-referencing would be a good idea for me. :)
